The Couples’ Ministry equips couples on how to build Christ-Centered Marriages. Nursery and Children’s Church meet in “Bibleland” where children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years, are taught the Word of God in creative and exciting ways. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

The Teen Ministry is a ministry for ages 13 to 18 years. Our mission is to assist in training and developing our youth into Godly men and women. Teen Ministry meetings and events are designed to lead teens to Christ, make disciples of Jesus Christ, foster the development of Godly relationships and to equip teens to serve in the body of Christ. In addition, teens are given opportunities to sing, pray, read the Word, answer biblical and practical questions, debate issues and speak before their peers.

The Prison Ministry was established to share the gospel with those behind prison walls (federal, state, city, and county jails) and to set the captives free from bondages of the enemy. Our involvement, at the various facilities, reflects different methods of ministering such as: Angel Tree Christmas Project, Chapel Events, Ministering in Youth Offender facilities, Mentoring Program with New Start Ministry, Movie Nights, Skits, One-on-one sessions, Group Sessions, Praise and Worship dancers and Pen Pal component.

The Word of God states in Matthew 25:40 “. . . . whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”.

The following ministries are designed to assist individuals in using their gifts to glorify God. We believe that creativity is a gift from God. Therefore, we encourage people who are willing to use their gifts to advance God’s Kingdom to contact us.

Pastoral Care serves as the under Shepherd for the members of Guiding Light Church. The assigned leaders of this ministry offer leadership and guidance along with giving biblically based emotional and spiritual support, especially during critical illnesses, deaths or other traumas.

The leaders of the Pastoral Care Ministry focus on the well-being of our congregation in order to help empower each Guiding Light Church member to live a happy and productive life.

Their duties include individual and family prayer, visitations, counseling and teaching.
